Abstract

The present invention relates to a processing unit of composite resins for the manufacture of cosmetic crowns and veneers, which is a novel device developed for the pediatric or the general dentist, thereby allowing making crowns or composite resin veneers in less than two minutes. The said device composes of three modules. Module 1 is a photo-polymerization capsule which is a thin cylindrical capsule inner containing a transparent silicone mold, shaped to the outer surface of the crown or the composite resin mat. Module 2 is a contra-capsule which is an accessory assembled with the photo-polymerization capsule, thus pressing the composite resin using a mold or positive silicone mold, which penetrates the negative cavity thereof. All of that to form an internal hollow of the cosmetic dentistry crown or the back of the veneer. Module 3 is a photo-polymerization chamber which is the essential accessory for photo-polymerizing the composite resin, for forming the dental crown or to the co smetic veneer, thus solidifying its structure by multiple light systems, strategically arranged to illuminate the encapsulated part from all the angles thereof.
