Abstract
El método de decodificación de señal de video escalable de acuerdo con la presente invención se caracteriza porque si se usa o no una imagen correspondiente en una capa inferior corno una imagen de referencia inter-capas para una imagen actual en una capa superior se determina sobre la base de un identificador de nivel de tiempo para la capa inferior, y si la imagen correspondiente en la capa inferior se usa como una imagen de referencia inter-capas de la imagen actual se lleva a cabo usando la imagen correspondiente y la imagen se restaura usando una muestra de predicción obtenida por medio de una predicción inter-capas y una muestra residual de la imagen actual.
