Abstract
La descripción incluye un método para separar una corriente de alimentación en una torre de destilación que comprende mantener una sección de zona de congelación controlada en la torre de destilación que forma sólidos a partir de una corriente de alimentación, en donde la sección de zona de congelación controlada incluye uno o más elementos internamente colocados y una pared de zona de congelación controlada que tiene una superficie de pared interna dentro de la torre de destilación, modificar por lo menos uno de los elementos internamente colocados, la superficie de pared interna o ambos con un mecanismo de tratamiento que incluye por lo menos uno de (a) remover porciones de la superficie de pared interna y (b) aplicar una superficie de recubrimiento, introducir la corriente de alimentación en la sección de zona de congelación contralada, formar los sólidos de la corriente de alimentación en la sección de zona de congelación controlada y por lo menos uno de prevenir y desestabilizar la adhesión de los sólidos a la superficie de pared interna con el mecanismo de tratamiento.
