Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con una herramienta de perforación para perforar aberturas en un tanque de lastre de cemento de un equipo de perforación petrolera con el objeto de acceder a un espacio interno en el tanque de lastre. La herramienta de perforación comprende un motor eléctrico que impulsa un primer eje; una bomba impulsada por el motor para bombear fluido de pozo que entra a través de una entrada y sale a través de una salida; un engranaje impulsado por el primer eje que se extiende a través de la bomba para reducir la rotación de un segundo eje; y un cabezal de perforación que tiene brocas y por lo menos un canal de fluido de cabezal de perforación y que es impulsado por el segundo eje, la salida de la bomba está conectada de manera fluida con el canal de fluido para bombear fluido de pozo saliendo a través del canal de fluido. El engranaje está dispuesto en un alojamiento de engranaje dispuesto en un alojamiento de herramienta que define un canal de fluido de engranaje que proporciona comunicación fluida entre la bomba y el canal de fluido de cabezal de perforación para evitar que el fluido de pozo entre al engranaje.
