Abstract
Durante el proceso de producción de petróleo en los diferentes activos de PEP el cual emerge contaminado con salmueras subterráneas y en los activos costafuera con agua de mar en la cual se presenta en dos partes, una llamada agua libre y la otra parte está íntimamente combinada con el crudo en forma de una emulsión. El agua emulsionada le proporciona al petróleo crudo un volumen adicional al transporte así como propiedades corrosivas el cual se ve reflejado en la reducción de la vida útil de los equipos de proceso, debido a esto es necesario aplicarle un proceso de deshidratación y desalado, la emulsión debe tratarse lo más pronto posible y existen diferentes agentes de desemulsificantes tales como calor, sedimentación, con centrifugación o electro coalescencia y químicos deshidratantes. Derivado de la problemática en el incremento del agua y la salinidad en los diferentes activos y de diferir la producción del aceite crudo pesado para poder cumplir con la calidad requerida, se realizo en nuestro laboratorio de investigación y desarrollo el rompedor de emulsión de parafinas y asfaltenos alta velocidad, diseñado específicamente para la desemulsificacion de petróleo crudo pesado. En su formulación cuenta con una mezcla de: P-Tert butil fenol 20 a 40 % preferentemente 30 % P-Amino fenol 4 a 15 % preferentemente 10 % Poli alquilen fenol 5 a 15 % preferentemente 10 % Resina condensada propoxilada 4 a 16 % preferentemente 10 % Xileno 5 a 15% preferentemente 10% Etilbenceno 5 a 15% preferentemente 10% Alcohol isopropilico 5 a 15% preferentemente 10% Naftas 3 a 7% preferentemente 5% Naftaleno 3 a 7% preferentemente 5% El rompedor de emulsión de parafinas y asfaltenos de alta velocidad es de carácter hidrofilico - lipofilico parcialmente soluble en la fase continua (aceite) y en la fase dispersa (agua), esta propiedad permite que el rompedor de emulsión de parafinas y asfaltenos de alta velocidad se posesione en la interface de la emulsión ocasionando la ruptura de la película interfacial que rodea la partículas de la fase dispersa.
