Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a composition including a Beauveria bassiana strain, with the ability to naturally infect insects; and can be used in the systematic protection of plants. The composition includes an active ingredient based on spores of the Beauveria bassiana fungus and an inert diluent which may include diatomaceous soil, sugar and vegetable extracts and that in conjunction with other products, can help solving the main problems that are facing the tomato, chili and eggplant crops, inter alia; for the control of: Anthonomus grandis, Anastrepha ludens, Ostrinia nubilalis, Epilachna varivestis, Epicaerus cognatus, Anthonomus eugenii, Bemisa tabaci, Trialeurodes vaporariorum, Phyllophaga sp., musca domestica, Diatraea saccharalis and Hypothenemus hampei. The present invention, in addition to its insecticidal action, also provides nutrients as aluminum, barium, beryllium, cadmium, calcium, cobalt, copper, chromium, tin, strontium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, mercury, nickel, lead, silver and potassium, mainly.
