Abstract

La presente materia se enfoca en un sistema y un método para producir una distribución luminosa tipo ala de murciélago; un lente es iluminado con una fuente de luz, de preferencia un LED, y el lente está configurado para reflejar internamente una porción de la luz de iluminación de vuelta en una dirección generalmente opuesta a la dirección de iluminación inicial; otra porción de la luz desde la fuente de luz puede pasar a través de otras superficies de lente pero también se puede refleja de vuelta más allá de la fuente de luz con un reflector colocado en el otro lado del lente desde la fuente de luz; la fuente de luz puede estar montada en una estructura para ocultar la luz desde la misma de la vista.
