Abstract
Método para controlar la presión en el fondo del pozo en un pozo de sondeo durante una perforación con presión controlada. En el procedimiento de perforación el fluido se hace circular hacia el interior de una sarta de revestimiento y hacia la superficie mediante el anillo entre la sarta de perforación y una pared interna del pozo de sondeo. Se utiliza una bomba/compresor para inyectar gas en el fluido de perforación de retorno en un punto de inyección de gas. El método comprende recibir una presión deseada en el fondo del pozo, determinar la presión real en el fondo del pozo durante el procedimiento y ajustar una variable según indica un controlador de retroalimentación, que actúa para reducir la diferencia entre la presión deseada y la presión medida. La variable manipulada puede ser una cualquiera o cualquier combinación de: (1) la presión del fluido de perforación al ingreso del fluido en la sarta de perforación, (2) la velocidad de flujo del fluido de perforación hacia el exterior de la sarta de perforación y hacia el anillo, (3) la presión del gas al salir del compresor y (4) la velocidad de inyección del gas.
