Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un dispositivo (1) y un método para obtener información de signos vitales de un ser vivo (2). El dispositivo propuesto (1) comprende una unidad de detección (3, 42, 61) para recibir luz (4) en por lo menos un intervalo de longitud de onda reflejada desde por lo menos una región de interés (20) de un ser vivo (2) y para generar una señal de entrada (5) desde la luz recibida (4), una unidad de procesamiento (6) para procesar la señal de entrada (5) y derivar información de signos vitales (7) del ser vivo a partir de la señal introducida (5) mediante el uso de fotopletismografía remota, una unidad de iluminación (8, 43, 64) para iluminar por lo menos la región de interés (20) con luz, y una unidad de control (10) para controlar la unidad de iluminación (8, 43, 64) en base en la señal introducida (5) y/o la información de signos vitales derivados (7).
