Abstract

Métodos y aparatos para pasar volumen dinámico en un sistema de entretenimiento doméstico que incluye un dispositivo de cliente que recibe señales de programación acopladas a un amplificador de audio/video, y una televisión acoplada al amplificador de audio/video. Un control remoto que se comunica a través de una interfaz de radiofrecuencia con el dispositivo de cliente "pasa" los comandos de ajuste de volumen de un usuario al amplificador de audio/vídeo o a la televisión dependiendo del estado de potencia del amplificador de audio/video. El control remoto recibe la información que indica este estado de potencia del dispositivo cliente que detecta el estado de potencia del amplificador de audio/vídeo a través de un bus bidireccional en una interfaz de cable, por ejemplo, bus de HDMI-CEC. El volumen se "pasa" al amplificador de audio/vídeo o a la televisión a través de un segundo enlace de comunicación, por ejemplo una interfaz óptica infrarroja.
