Abstract
Un método para mejorar la reología de los fluidos de perforación que es efectivo para cualquier fluido de perforación de emulsión invertida "libre de arcilla" de cualquier peso de lodo, aun cuando se perfore a altas temperaturas. La reología mejorada se efectúa con la adición de un aceite de silicio al fluido de perforación. Un ejemplo no limitante de este aditivo tal reología comprende polidimetilsiloxano.
