Abstract
Un sistema para detectar una junta de tubería dentro de un orificio de estructura de pozo que comprende un cuerpo conectable en línea con la estructura de pozo. El cuerpo tiene un orificio central a su través e incluye una pluralidad de orificios ocultos que se extienden radialmente hacia adentro desde la superficie exterior. El por lo menos un sensor es operable para emitir una señal que representa la anchura de un objeto metálico situado dentro del orificio central. El sistema puede incluir además una pantalla operable para recibir la señal de salida desde el por lo menos un sensor y para mostrar una salida a un usuario que indica la anchura del objeto metálico dentro del orificio central.
