Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para activar una herramienta pozo abajo en un pozo de sondeo; un pistón es móvil desde una primera posición a una segunda posición para activar la herramienta pozo abajo; el pistón incluye un primer lado expuesto a una primera cámara, y un segundo lado expuesto a una segunda cámara; un elemento de ruptura tiene un primer lado expuesto a la primera cámara y un segundo lado expuesto a una tercera cámara; el elemento de ruptura está configurado para romperse cuando un diferencial de presión entre la primera cámara y la tercera cámara alcanza un valor de umbral predeterminado, en cuyo punto el elemento de ruptura permite la comunicación de fluido entre la primera cámara y la tercera cámara; cuando el elemento de ruptura está intacto, el pistón queda en la primera posición, y cuando el elemento de ruptura se rompe, el pistón se mueve a la segunda posición y activa la herramienta pozo abajo.
