Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un implante que comprende al menos dos capas hechas de fibras y un material bioactivo dispuesto entre dichas al menos dos capas, seleccionándose el material bioactivo del grupo que consiste de vitrofibra bioactiva, hidroxiapatita, tricalciofosfato y mezclas de los mismos. En el implante, al menos una de las dos capas se forma al menos principalmente de una malla, la cual se hace de fibras de vidrio que tienen un diámetro de 3-100µm, y en donde el tamaño de malla se selecciona de tal manera que el material bioactivo se retiene dentro del implante. Además, las capas se incorporan en una matriz hecha de una resina seleccionada del grupo que consiste de poliésteres, epóxidos, acrilatos y mezclas de los mismos, y las capas se unen entre sí a lo largo del contorno del implante.
