Abstract

Un MSO que despliega un OLT estándar y se instala con ONU a ser utilizado por los clientes a quienes el MSO puede conectarse utilizando fibra óptica. Para los clientes que no pueden alcanzar fibra óptica, el MSO despliega un convertidor entre la fibra óptica y la red coaxial de manera que el MSO puede utilizar el mismo estándar OLT, y utilizar CNU para los clientes conectados a la red coaxial.
