Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo de manejo de infraestructura que comprende un procesador configurado para obtener status del puerto y status del dispositivo de red para cada uno de uno o más dispositivos de red físicos en un sistema. El status del puerto indica que un cable está insertado al primer puerto y el procesador obtiene datos del cable que identifican una o más características del cable insertado al primer puerto.
