Abstract

Se proporciona un método para discernir automáticamente, entre píxeles del objeto y los que no son del objeto en un cubo de datos de imágenes hiperespectrales. En modalidades particulares, el objeto del método es una planta, parte de la planta, rasgo de la planta, fenotipo de la planta, recipiente de planta, recipiente de plantas o un medio de la planta. El método comprende una primera etapa de proporcionar un algoritmo de cuadrados mínimos parciales con análisis discriminante (PLSDA) y una segunda etapa de aplicar el algoritmo de PLSDA a un cubo de datos de imágenes hiperespectrales para determinar, automáticamente, qué píxeles contienen las propiedades espectrales del objeto. El algoritmo de PLSDA del método puede generarse al establecer una matriz de entrenamiento, realizar una descomposición del vector propio de la matriz de entrenamiento, determinar, experimentalmente, una combinación lineal ponderada de vectores propios que contienen la señal del objeto, calcular un vector de regresión mediante el uso de la combinación lineal ponderada de vectores propios que contienen la señal, generar una matriz de máscara y multiplicar la matriz de máscara por el cubo de datos de imágenes hiperespectrales a lo largo de dos dimensiones espaciales.
