Abstract
Los sistemas y métodos que se divulgan proporcionan imágenes sísmicas mejoradas mediante el uso de pesos de apilamiento de imagen parcial que se basan en el parecido entre la imagen parcial local y una imagen de referencia. Al menos algunas modalidades del método incluyen obtener imágenes parciales de una región de estudio y apilar las imágenes parciales para producir una imagen de referencia. Las imágenes parciales después se recombinan para formar una imagen mejorada, en donde la recombinación incluye: medir en cada punto la similitud de la imagen de referencia con cada una de las imágenes parciales; y determinar en cada punto un valor de imagen mejorada desde una combinación ponderada de valores correspondientes en las imágenes parciales, la combinación ponderada utiliza pesos derivados de la similitud de las imágenes de referencia en ese punto con cada imagen parcial.
