Abstract
La presente técnica se refiere a un dispositivo y método de recepción de ondas de difusión, un dispositivo y método de transmisión de ondas de difusión, un programa, y un medio de grabación que realizan sintonización universal que permite la selección de difusión de varios segmentos sólo a través de recepción de difusión mientras se utilizan infraestructuras existentes. Se selecciona un segmento central que se encuentra en una ubicación de segmento predeterminada en un canal físico predeterminado. Se hace una comprobación para determinar si se adquiere un descriptor de transmisión conectado en el cual se escribe la información sobre la sincronización de OFDM entre los segmentos en el canal físico predeterminado, el descriptor de transmisión conectado se contiene en una corriente de transporte que se difunde en el segmento central seleccionado. Cuando se adquiere el descriptor de transmisión conectado, los segmentos distintos al segmento central en el canal físico se seleccionan de manera secuencial y la información de sintonización contenida en la corriente de transporte de cada uno de los segmentos seleccionados se adquiere para crear una tabla de sintonización.
