Abstract

Se describe un sistema de identificación para marcar un componente, el cual durante uso es sometido a desgaste, que incluye un disco de identificación que comprende caras superior e inferior generalmente paralelas y un espesor que está definido entre las caras superior e inferior, una marcación de identificación única que se proporciona sobre al menos la cara superior y que corresponde a la identidad del componente, una cavidad la cual está formada en el cuerpo del componente y se extiende desde la superficie externa del cuerpo hacia una profundidad que es mayor que el espesor del disco, y un labio que está formado a partir de una porción del cuerpo adyacente a la cavidad y que, cuando el disco es colocado en la cavidad, traslapa una porción periférica externa de la cara superior para asegurar así el disco en la cavidad sin obscurecer la marcación de identificación.
