Abstract

The present invention refers to a system for treating wastewater, which consists in a pilot plant of flexible operation for removing arsenic and fluorine. This system is characterized in that it performs the most common unitary operations required for treating water, and being designed for performing the whole processes and operations, or only one of them or the different required combinations, depending on the characteristics of the water to be treated. Additionally, the fact of being a modular and portable plant turns the invention into a useful system for obtaining truthful data about the efficiency of the removal method so as to be adapted to the water supply source, avoiding high costs involved in the installation of treatment plants at an industrial level.
