Abstract

Un método para formar un artículo compuesto atenuante de sonido que comprende proporcionar un sustrato de fibra, en donde el sustrato de fibra proporciona una capa desacopladora acústica; proporcionar un material polimérico relleno, en donde el material polimérico relleno proporciona una capa de barrera acústica; y formar el material polimérico relleno en el lugar adecuado sobre el sustrato de fibra en una o más áreas localizadas sobre el sustrato de fibra y unir el material polimérico relleno al sustrato de fibra en una o más áreas localizadas.
