Abstract

The invention relates to a monoblock in an opposed-piston engine, and the system of bars for passing the mechanical energy of two output crankshafts to a common crankshaft so as to be assembled in the conventional transmission of an automobile. Described is an arrangement of bars, crankshafts and monoblocks in an opposed-piston engine, which is characterized in that the monoblock presents 2 parallel chambers, the end portions of each monoblock receiving a piston, thus obtaining an arrangement of four pistons, which are all connected through a crankshaft and bars arrangement to another crankshaft, this latter element receiving the alternate movement of the piston arrangement; where each chamber is surrounded by a channel through which a refrigerant fluid is flowed.
