Description
SPORTS SHOES
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to sports shoes and more particularly but not exclusively with sports shoes such as soccer boots.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the International Patent Application PCT / AU2008000174 a soccer booty is described. The tip of the soccer booty is provided with a concave portion which aims to improve the contact of the players with the ball, thereby helping the players in controlling the ball particularly with respect to the direction in which they are kicked. the ball. This particular soccer booty also has the objective of improving the player's ability to push the ball with less effort.
In the Patent Publications DE 2637806, DE20017207, DE202005015243, several soccer boots are described which also have the objective of improving the player's ability to control the ball.
The aforementioned soccer soccer boots include the disadvantage of transferring the generated force to the fingers of the soccer player. This is sometimes uncomfortable and sometimes even painful.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to overcome or substantially improve the aforementioned disadvantage.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
A sports shoe is described herein that includes:
a sole;
a spade secured to the sole and providing a front portion, the front portion having an internal surface that will be placed adjacent the user's foot, and an outer surface;
a toe secured to the front portion having a front surface to be in contact with a ball that will be kicked by the user; and where
said toe is formed of elastic material in order to deform with the impact.
Preferably, the front surface is concave.
Preferably, the toe includes a front part providing said front surface; and a concave part that extends backwards.
Preferably, the material. Elastic is a plastic material.
Preferably, the plastic material is a polymer.
Preferably, the polymer is silicone rubber.
Preferably, said rearwardly extending part is a skirt.
Preferably, said blade includes a tip portion, with the toe including said tip portion.
Preferably, said toe includes a recessed cavity in which the front portion is located.
Preferably, said toe includes a skirt that at least partially surrounds said cavity.
Preferably, the skirt is fixed to the blade.
Preferably, the toe is stiffer than the tip portion.
Preferably, the elastic material has a Young's Modulus of 2.5 to 5.00.
Preferably, Young's Module is 3.2 a
4. 3.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
A preferred form of the present invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a schematic isometric view of a soccer booty; Y
Figure 2 is a schematic isometric view of exploded portions of the soccer loot of Figure 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED MODALITY
A soccer boot 10 is schematically illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The soccer boot 10 includes a portion of shoes 11 consisting of a sole 12 and a spade 13. In a conventional manner, the spade 13 is secured to the sole 12 adjacent the periphery of the sole 12 in order to provide a cavity for the foot 14 into which the foot of a player is inserted. The sole 12 and the shovel 13 cooperate to provide the shoe portion 11 with a front tip portion 15. The tip portion 15 has an inner surface facing the cavity 14 and which is located adjacent the foot of the player. The tip portion 15 also has an external surface 16.
To the portion 11 is secured the toe 17 which includes at least a substantial portion of the tip portion 15. The toe 17 is molded of a flexible and elastic plastic material and is stiffer than the flexible sheet material that forms the tip portion 15. The toe 17 includes a forward facing surface 18 whose purpose is to be in contact with the kicked ball. Preferably, the surface 18 is flat or concave. The toe 17 has a front portion 19 which provides the surface 18 and a rear cavity 20 in which the tip portion 15 is located. The toe 17 also includes a skirt 21 which extends rearwardly from the portion 19 to provide said end portion. toe 17 with a concave portion extending rearward 22 with cavity 20. Preferably portion 19 and skirt 21 are integrally formed of plastic material.
Preferably the skirt 21 surrounds the cavity 20. In a further preferred form, the skirt 21 is preferably fixed to the blade 13.
The toe 17 is formed of elastic material to minimize personal injury. For example in the soccer game, if a player accidentally comes into contact with another player with his booty 10, the toe 17 will deform elastically thus minimizing the risk of injury.
In order to protect the foot of the player when he hits the ball, preferably the toe 17 is stiffer than the tip portion 15.
Preferably, the toe 17 is formed of elastic material such as rubber, synthetic rubber, or plastic material such as a polymer. The polymer can be silicone rubber. Preferably, the elastic material has a Young's Modulus of 2.5 to 5.0, more preferably 3.2 to 4.3.
