Abstract
Se describe un método para iniciar movilización y recuperación de hidrocarburos por drenaje por gravedad asistido por vapor (SAGD) en una formación con hidrocarburos que incluye inicialmente formar una trayectoria de circulación al conectar un pozo de inyección SAGD y un pozo de circulación. El pozo de circulación puede ser un pozo de extracción SAGD o un pozo separado completado adyacente a la punta del pozo de inyección. Inicialmente se hace circular un portador térmico tal como vapor o gases de descarga, formando una cámara térmica alrededor del pozo de inyección. Una vez que el arranque inicial se ha completado, la trayectoria de circulación se desacopla para propagación adicional de la cámara térmica y establecer operaciones SAGD en estado estable.
