Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and method for the reconstruction of three-dimensional images of manufactured components of any size, from millimetric manufactured components to large-size manufactured components. The system includes the arrangement of a series of apparatus, namely a transportation means for a measuring instrument, an inspection zone, the manufactured component and an information-processing device, and the method for reconstructing the three-dimensional images of manufactured components of any size, from millimetric manufactured components to large-size manufactured components. In the second desirable embodiment, the manufactured component, the transportation means, the position and direction of projection of the light from the sensor or from a plurality of sensors may be fixed or movable.
