Abstract
The present invention is related to the industry for manufacturing medical equipment, and more specifically with the industry for manufacturing orthopedic equipment, and even more specifically to the industry for manufacturing instruments for reducing fractures in different bones. The main advantage of the invention over the state of the art is that the present invention allows the fibula fracture to be reduced with a minimum invasion. Structurally, the system for reducing the fibula fracture of the present invention is reflected in a central medullar nail blocked with screws for fibula fractures, which is formed by the nail, a device for fixing the nail and installing the same in the bone and accessories for performing the required surgical technique, the invention being characterized in that the nail is made of a surgical titanium alloy of 5 mm of diameter, 10 cm of length with at least 4 perforations at 2, 5, 7 and 9 cm far from the end portion thereof, the perforations having 2 mm of diameter, and an angulation of 15° in one end portion thereof, with a female string, two female inlets, the other end portion being round bullet-shaped.
