Abstract

The present invention refers to a method through which methane content in biogas, produced from different organic materials subjected to an anaerobic, mesophilic or thermophilic digestion, is substantially increased, this biogas being flowed, at backflow in a continuous manner to a tower to which nejayote is fed, this latter product being a maiz nixtamalization byproduct, which captures the carbon dioxide useful for feeding the biodigestor once nejayote is saturated with CO2, this acting as a source of carbon and biogas producer, instead of being discharged in the drain.
