Description

A DESPACHADOR FOR TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF PRODUCTS OF PAPER OR NOT WOVEN Technical field The present invention relates to the field of dispensers for at least two different types of paper or non-woven products according to the pre-characterization portion of claim 1. The invention further relates to an arrangement comprising a dispenser and two different paper or non-woven products in two compartments of the dispenser.
Background WO 00/65973 describes a dispenser for pre-moistened towels and dry tissue for bath. The dispenser comprises two compartments, an upper compartment for the pre-moistened towels and a lower compartment for the dry tissue paper for the bathroom. The dispenser is attached to a conventional tissue paper towel attachment for bath tissue paper rolls either by means of a dedicated mounting device or by means of a u-shaped mounting device to be attached to a roll bar of the conventional bathroom accessory.
Accordingly, the assembly of this type of dispenser in a bath involves several parts and several handling steps. Also, this type of dispenser takes up considerably more space than a conventional paper roll holder in a bath, and can not be mounted on a conventional paper roll holder of the type wherein a tray is provided wherein a roll of tissue paper is placed and where the support is therefore not provided with a roll bar.
"WO 2004/103138 discloses a dispenser adapted to dispatch sheets as a tablecloth dispenser and convertible to a dispenser configured to dispatch sheets from a conventional rolled products accessory. The dispenser comprises a pivotally mounted platform. The housing is supported from above. of the platform on the attachment when it is attached to it.
WO 2004/103139 discloses a dispenser containing sheets. The dispenser is adapted to be releasably coupled to a conventional rolled product accessory. The dispenser is suspended from the attachment in such a way that the sheets are arranged below the accessory.
Summary An object of the present invention is to provide an uncomplicated and easily manipulated dispenser for two different types of paper or non-woven products.
According to one aspect of the invention, the object is achieved by a dispenser for at least two different types of paper or non-woven products, wherein the dispenser is adapted to be mounted on a support for an absorbent paper roll. The dispenser comprises a first compartment adapted to contain a first type of paper or non-woven product, and a second compartment adapted to contain a second type of paper or non-woven product. The dispenser has a substantially cylindrical shape and comprises a substantially cylindrical outer shell, a first end wall and a second end wall, wherein the outer shell is connected to the first and second end walls. The first and second end walls are provided with centrally disposed openings substantially adapted to receive an axis of a support for a roll of absorbent paper or projections of a support for an absorbent paper roll.
Since the dispenser has a substantially cylindrical shape, it is easily fitted to a support for a roll of absorbent paper of comparable size. In addition, the dispenser can be easily mounted on a support for a roll of absorbent paper without complicated clamping arrangements. The already present axis or projections of the support can simply be used. When a user again wants to use the stand with a roll of ordinary absorbent paper, the dispenser can be easily removed and replaced by the roll of absorbent paper.
As a result, the aforementioned object is achieved.
It should be understood that also hybrid products comprising paper and non-woven fibers are encompassed in the expression; paper or non-woven products.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments of the first type of paper or paper product may be dry absorbent paper and the second type of paper or non-woven product may be a wet paper or a non-woven product. Alternatively, the first type of paper or non-woven product can be dry absorbent paper and the second type of paper or non-woven product can be a dry paper or nonwoven product of a different type to the first type of paper product or non-woven. The wet product may be provided for either a cleaning purpose or for a treatment purpose other than cleaning. Also, a dry paper or nonwoven product may comprise an additive, e.g., for skin treatment purposes.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the dispenser may comprise an arrangement to prevent rotation of the dispenser. Also, therefore, it can be ensured that the dispenser remains in a position in the holder when the two different types of paper or non-woven products are held from the dispenser by a user.
According to illustrative embodiments, the provision for preventing rotation may comprise a first friction device arranged in or at least one of the centrally disposed openings, the first friction device being adapted to cooperate with a shaft of a support for a roll of absorbent paper or projections of a support for a roll of absorbent paper.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the provision for preventing rotation may comprise a second friction device disposed on an exterior of the substantially cylindrical outer shell. The second friction device, for example, may be supported against a portion of a support for a roll of absorbent paper or against a wall to which the dispenser is fixed.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the provision for preventing rotation may comprise a projection disposed on an exterior of the substantially cylindrical outer shell. Said projection can be supported again against a portion of a support for a paper roll or absorbent against a wall where the dispenser is fixed.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the substantially cylindrical outer shell may be provided with a first supply opening for providing access to the first compartment and a second supply opening for providing access to the second compartment.
In accordance with illustrative embodiments, the second supply opening may be provided with a sealing arrangement. Said sealing arrangement can provide a moisture barrier that can make it more difficult for liquids and gases to escape from and / or enter the second compartment. This can be useful if the second compartment contains wet or damp paper or non-woven products, which can be kept wet longer if the second compartment is not provided with a sealing arrangement. In connection with the sealing arrangement, a lid can be arranged to provide access to the second compartment, e.g., to fill the second compartment.
In accordance with illustrative embodiments, an interior of the second compartment can be covered with a moisture resistant coating. This can be advantageous if the dispenser is manufactured from a moisture absorbing material.
In accordance with illustrative embodiments, the first compartment may have a substantially cylindrical shape adapted to contain a roll of paper or non-woven product. In the case that the dispenser is arranged in a holder for a roll of absorbent paper provided with an axis or projections for a roll of absorbent paper, the axis or the projections can engage a core of the paper or non-woven product roll.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the second compartment may have a substantially planar elongate cross section and may extend through an internal surface of the substantially cylindrical outer shell. In this way, a roll of paper or non-woven product may still be relatively unobstructed within the first compartment.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, at least a portion of the first end wall may be removably attached to the substantially cylindrical outer shell in such a manner that access is provided to the interior of the dispenser. Access can be provided to the first compartment and / or to the second compartment. The portion of the first end wall can form a door, which can be used to fill the dispenser. In addition to the removable end wall, a cap properly spaced in connection with the second supply opening can provide access to the second refill compartment.
A further aspect of the invention relates to an arrangement comprising | - a dispatcher in accordance with aspects described above. - a roll of a first paper or non-woven product arranged in the first compartment, and - a second paper or non-woven product of a different type than in the first compartment arranged in the second compartment. In this way, a dispenser filled with two different types of paper or non-woven products can be easily provided to be fixed to a support for an absorbent paper roll.
In accordance with the illustrative embodiments, the second paper or non-woven product may be a wet paper or nonwoven product and may be contained in a separate packaging arrangement in the second compartment. By providing a wet paper or nonwoven product in a separate package, the filling of the second compartment can be facilitated.
In accordance with exemplary embodiments, the roll of the first paper or non-woven product can be a roll of dry absorbent paper provided with a central through hole centered around the centrally disposed openings of the first and second end walls and said roll is arranged for , turn inside the first compartment. In this way a dry paper or non-woven product can be provided in the first compartment and a wet paper or nonwoven product in the second compartment.
In accordance with illustrative embodiments, the arrangement may further comprise a packaging wrapper and a number of separate rolls of the first paper or non-woven product. The dispenser and the number of separate rolls of the first paper or non-woven product can be wrapped in the packing wrapper. In this way, the dispenser can be provided to a user in a sales facility that includes rolls of replacement paper or non-woven product.
Also, one or more spare packages of the second paper or non-woven product may be provided in the packaging wrapper.
