Abstract

A description is given of a system for connecting tubes (10, 10') for electrical wires to junction boxes (1) for electrical installations. The box (1) comprises a substantially plane bottom wall (2), a side wall (3) which rises up from the peripheral edge of the bottom wall (2), and at least one breakable wall (4), formed in the side wall (3) and/or in the bottom wall (2), suitable for being removed so as to generate a hole (5) for the connecting of the tube (2) by means of an adapter (20), wherein said adapter (20) houses in its interior the end section of the tube (10, 10') and has a pair of opposite teeth (22, 23) suitable for engaging respectively in a recess (6) of the hole (5) and in a window (7) formed in the wall of the box (1) opposite the recess (6), at least the tooth (23) being elastic so as to allow snap engaging of the adapter (20) on the box (1).
