Description
SECURITY DEVICE FOR CARGO AUTOTRANSPORTS
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates in general to the field of systems, methods and electronic devices to control, track, protect, monitor, provide security and prevent the theft of cargo motor carriers of the truck or trailer type (cabin and trailer).
Background of the Invention
A very important part of the products that are used in today's society are delivered by truck and / or trailers at some point in their distribution chain. Theft of trucks and trailers is a constant problem. Trucks can be stolen for the value of their contents and / or by the equipment itself. There is also the risk that terrorists could steal a truck delivering dangerous contents, for example, explosives, poisons, etc., or seek to use the truck as a terrorism tool.
Current mechanisms to prevent theft usually involve blocking the engine of a truck cab or trailer doors when left alone, or signaling alarms from unauthorized entry. These measures are of limited effectiveness against thieves, who can often open locks, disable alarms and circumvent almost any security system. Thus, -
These existing methods are ineffective against the kidnapping by armed robbers, when the vehicle is in motion for example.
The anti-theft devices of vehicles and installations are known in the state of the art to prevent and / or frustrate the theft of a motor vehicle for the transport of cargo. These anti-theft devices and / or vehicle recovery devices can be very varied and are usually available in many forms, that is, they can be of the steering lock type, hood lock, power or ignition cutoff system, alarms, devices alert with associated devices, etc. However, as is well known, these known anti-theft devices and / or vehicle recovery devices or systems can be easily deciphered by thieves, and, above all, by professional thieves so they present severe disadvantages associated with their use . Experience has shown that even the most sophisticated anti-theft devices can be deciphered by an experienced thief and that vehicle recovery systems also have drawbacks associated with their use.
In the case of some vehicle recovery devices (GPS tracking equipment), their use may be limited by the availability of the GPRS signal which depends on the communication provider between the tracking devices and the monitoring center or lack of corresponding follower (monitoring area) in the motor transport or the receiving device in a particular site to follow up or for the loss of the -
signal or by any associated problem. Vehicle recovery systems are known to include a GPS device, these systems place a position on the planet. These vehicle recovery systems usually require that a unit with its corresponding signal receivers be maintained under constant and guarded operating conditions, in order to actively and effectively maintain the location of the vehicle.
Other vehicle recovery systems require that a security team be informed of the theft and location of the stolen motor vehicle, which in practice could result in the loss of valuable time in the vehicle recovery process. The above problems in terms of vehicle safety are equally applicable to problems of equal or greater magnitude in terms of safety for example of boats, aircraft and recreational vehicles.
Thus, for example, US 7,586,401 discloses a system and a method for preventing theft and tracking of truck trailers and other vehicles. In this system, one or more status indicators, such as location, indication of unauthorized tampering, disconnection of truck trailer, etc. they are communicated by an alarm to a monitoring center. A stolen vehicle can be stopped remotely by command and control from a monitoring center. Upon the occurrence of a predetermined condition, such as stopping and extracting air from the brake system, the vehicle's brakes will remain blocked until the entry of an authorization code or until authorization is received from the dispatch and monitoring center. However, this document does not mention the possibility of having an extra security means that could contain the device according to said invention, which could be opened only by means of a remote control that operates an internal sheet to be able to access the device, for example, since the invention disclosed in this document is limited to emitting an alert signal when it is detected that the box that includes the alarm device is being opened and warns a control center about this situation, when this may be a limiting to prevent an eventual theft of the merchandise that is transported or even of all the motor transport.
Also, the document US 7, 688,185, describes a system and method for generating a warning signal for a trailer or trailer. In a preferred embodiment, this invention discloses that proximity analyzes are driven by a movement detection in a trailer. In the proximity analysis, unexpected deviations of proximity between a truck and a trailer result in the generation of an alert signal that is sent to the management system suitable for the investigation. It is important to highlight that this invention refers more precisely to a logistics system exclusively and not to a security system that issues an alert before an event such as a theft.
There is also document US 2010/0223090, describes an improved method / system for surveillance and security directed to freight transport. The described method implies that an authorized driver and / or the truck and the trailer or - -
trailer use a specified authorization code. A location tracking device is attached to the trailer and stores the specified authorization code. The location information of the tracking device and the authorized driver and / or the authorized truck are supervised by an end user along a destination route. The consumer can control the unauthorized use of a driver and / or tractor and truck not authorized for the shipment of goods, so that the integrity of the cargo can be controlled, optimizing and maintaining a level of confidence according to the consumer's wishes. This document has the limitation that only refers to a system to detect the presence of the trailer box using the trailer electrical wiring, but it does not represent a real and complete option as a security system to warn about the theft of merchandise in the trailer and avoid it.
Consequently, it can be seen that there are needs for improved apparatuses, systems and methods for preventing the theft of trailers and their cargo. In response to this need, the provision of improved devices, systems and methods for preventing the theft of trailer-type trucks and their cargo to meet existing needs is imminent.
Summary of the Invention

delinquency protecting the merchandise that is transported in a terrestrial manner. This system is used in trucks or trailers and consists of a central sensor processing unit in the cabin and the security system that has an air passage valve, as well as various sensors that help determine the state of the system . This device acts on the brake air system, trailer trailer in case of any emergency condition such as attempted theft of goods, which makes the brakes run out of air and therefore are blocked and not can the trailer be moved.
An objective of the present invention is to provide a safety system and device for auto transport to report immediately to the monitoring center that the box is being unhooked from its cabin, or that it is being subject to an unauthorized opening of the box, with the support of a satellite tracking system.

7b) LED low battery
7c) LED system activated
Description of the components:
• Connectors for air hoses (3). This is where you interact with the air system of the vehicle brakes.
- -
• Sensors (4). Through these it is possible to detect that the armored cabinet containing the security equipment is being beaten, is trying to open through a blowtorch or the loading door of the trailer is being opened without authorization or under conditions that are not safe, these Sensors can be temperature, impact, opening cabinet door or loading doors.
• LED's (7a-7c): By means of the LED's you know the status of the system because it indicates if you are in alarm mode, if the equipment is active or if the internal battery is too low.
• Antenna or wireless communication system (7). Through this it has communication with the sensor controller that is in the cabin of the truck or cabin of the trailer.
• System for anchoring (6). It is by means of this system that the equipment is subject to the base of the vehicle, this system in conjunction with the cabinet is made of armored material (steel thickness thick enough to be opened).
• Supply voltage (5a). The equipment is powered by the trailer's battery, through which the internal battery is constantly charged.
The system operates as follows:
For the equipment to operate it is necessary that the vehicle in question is installed the two aforementioned elements 1 and 2, with their respective sensors.
- -
The security system (2) has an independent battery inside the shielded cabinet so it is always active, if the system does not detect the signal from the sensor controller (1), it remains in the stand-by or standby state. Once the signal from the sensor controller (1) is detected, the system is automatically activated.
From this moment on, the team begins to register the different sensors (1) that it has on a regular basis in order to make decisions as soon as abnormal behavior is detected. Figure 3 shows the operation of the system as a flow diagram in detail. The process begins at A where it is checked if there is a signal from the sensor controller (B), if there is no revision being made again until it is found, otherwise the sensor monitoring (C) is started and the Operation LED Subsequently, it is checked if there is an active sensor (D) and the sensor (E) is identified. Then it is checked if the system has GPS equipment (F); otherwise, the system activates in local mode and activates the activated system LED (G) and then executes the air release routine of the vehicle brakes (H) and in the next step it is checked if there is a signal of reactivation by remote control (I) and then if there is no signal the time routine is executed to reactivate again (J) and once the time (K) is finished it is determined if it is returned to step (I) or reboots the system again (L), returns to step A and repeats the procedure. Otherwise, if the system has a GPS (F) device then an alarm signal is sent to the monitoring center and activates an activated system LED () for later depending on the configuration the air release routine can be executed immediately. the vehicle brakes or wait for indications from the monitoring center to do it (N) and then the decision is made and again waiting for instructions to wait for the monitoring center to reactivate the system (0). Subsequently, it is checked if a signal was received to reactivate the system (P), if so, it returns to step (A) and the procedure is repeated; otherwise, step (0) is repeated.
Once the system is activated, it is periodically checking the status of all the sensors that are managed by the sensor controller and the sensors of the security system (cabin presence sensor, temperature sensor, impact sensor, doors, button) of panic, etc.), if any of these is activated, the equipment activates the air release device of the vehicle's brake system. The activation of this device can be done locally without the intervention of any other device or person or it can also be through the tracking equipment, once the alarm is sent to the monitoring center and it decides whether or not to activate the device.
The device operates in several ways depending on the operation of each user, only the system can be reactivated after a certain time of the activation of the alarm and the blocking of brakes. It can be reactivated by means of the indication of the tracking equipment sent from the monitoring center. Another way to reactivate the system is through a remote control which contains the reactivation code.
The equipment operates with a battery that is inside - -
of the armored cabinet that keeps the whole system protected, this battery is constantly being charged by the vehicle's battery, therefore the battery is only used at the moment when a disengagement occurs or an emergency situation in which the power is cut off to the system or there is an attempt to violate the cabinet.
The equipment has LED's that indicate if the equipment is working correctly in such a way that the user can easily know the status of the system, likewise it has a LED battery indicator, so you can know if the battery should be replaced. It has an LED that indicates that the brake lock has been activated
Examples of application of the device according to the present invention
The following examples show how some of the embodiments of this invention operate.
Once the system is active and the vehicle is moving, we assume that the vehicle stops at a traffic light, at that moment the driver is threatened by a thief and he opens the door of the vehicle, the security team (2) detects by the sensor controller (1) the activation of the door sensor and also detects by the ignition sensor that the vehicle is on, if the vehicle has GPS tracking equipment the security team (2) sends the alarm and is waiting for instructions or immediately activates the air release system of the vehicle's brakes, this depends on the initial configuration of the system.
Another example would be, if the vehicle in this case a trailer is stolen, what the criminals do is unhook the box that contains the goods from the cabin where the GPS tracking equipment usually comes and they hook him another cabin with which they take the merchandise, at the moment of unhooking the box, the sensor control system (1) sends the signal to the security system (2) which activates the air release system of the brakes of the box with which the brakes are blocked and the box can no longer be moved with the merchandise, likewise if the trailer has satellite tracking equipment it sends the alert (x), and if it does not have it, it remains blocked (and) until the routine is executed. time (waiting time to reactivate) and again looks for the cabin to reactivate the system. This example can be seen in Figure 4.
