Abstract

Un método para estimar las propiedades de los fluidos en los yacimientos rocosos en ubicaciones seleccionadas dentro de la cuenca geológica incluye generar un modelo inicial de la cuenca. El modelo incluye como distribución espacial de salida de al menos una composición mineral del yacimiento rocoso, porosidad del yacimiento rocoso y la composición de los fluidos en la porosidad del yacimiento rocoso. Una estimación inicial de la composición del fluido se genera para al menos un yacimiento rocoso en al menos una ubicación seleccionada dentro de la cuenca. Una muestra del fluido se extrae de los espacios del poro de al menos un yacimiento rocoso desde dentro del sondeo perforado a través del mismo. La composición de la muestra del fluido se analiza desde dentro del sondeo. El modelo inicial de la cuenca se ajusta tanto que las predicciones del modelo coinciden de forma sustancial con la composición del fluido analizado. El modelo ajustado se utiliza para generar una estimación inicial de la composición del fluido en al menos una ubicación geodésica adicional dentro de la cuenta.
