Abstract

A can holder comprising a sheet with a main zone for holding the cans, at least two facing cut-outs (1) positioned in the main zone for securing cans, and a gripping means (2) for carrying the can/sheet assembly, in which the sheet is made of compact cardboard with fibres oriented in a preferred direction.

Description

GROUP WITH GRIP AREA FOR CANS DESCRIPTION OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a grouper with grip zone, for cans.
The grouper is formed from a sheet of compact cardboard.
The grouper allows the grouping of a certain number of cans, and the transport of them.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a grouper for cans of compact cardboard, with a gripping area to facilitate the transport thereof, the configuration of the gripping area with respect to the assembly is the key of the invention.
Different groupers are known as described in the document O03004377, in this document is described a grouper of cans in corrugated cardboard that connects a set of cans, in the center thereof two grip points for transporting the assembly are shown.
In the document with publication number EP0456361, a canner of cans with plastic handle is described. It is very convenient that cardboard instead of plastic can be used in cans, for environmental reasons, since cardboard is much easier to recycle. It should be noted that said grouper, technically, is totally different. The clamping area is in the center of the can in the vertical direction and the clamping is due to the elasticity of the plastic. In contrast, in the present invention, the clamping is performed on the neck of the can, on the upper part, and the clamping is based on the stretching pressure at the time of gripping. In front of this type of plastic binders to develop a cardboard grouper, several problems have to be solved, since in the case of the plastic groupers, the cans are joined and held in the middle of the can, in the trunk and the plastic behavior when holding cans, is totally different from a cardboard grouper.
In the document with publication number US5310051, a can grouping sheet is also described which aims to solve the problem of the transport of the set by reinforcing the central zone where the transport points are present.
It is also known from the state of the art, a clip-type grouper for articles such as that shown in patent US 5355999, which comprises a panel having folded grooves, inner wedge-shaped support sections, and outer support sections in addition to receiving cans, it also comprises short side panels and an end panel that assist in holding the cans in position; the extreme flaps of the panel, and the lateral extensions are glued together in order to keep the grouper in the closed position.
In all of them, the fastening of the cans at the moment of transport is key, since the force exerted on the grip points and the movement of the transport tends to detach some of the cans from the set.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The problem that is solved with the present invention is the grouping and transport of cans by sheets of compact cardboard, there is also an improvement in hygiene when the sheet is covered with cans.
When the cans are grouped with sheets of cardboard and it is intended that the sheet supports the weight of all and these can be carried from one place to another, it is common for some of the cans to detach, for the force that has to support the blade and transport movement.
The problem is solved in the present invention, with a configuration of the determined sheet and a suitable position of the grip area in the sheet.
The type of material used in the present invention is compact cardboard with the necessary strength to support the can assembly.
When the cardboard is made, the fibers of the dough are aligned in parallel to the direction in which the cardboard sheet is moving. In the present invention advantage is taken of the characteristic of the cardboard, in which the sheet in a certain direction is stiffer and stronger.
In a first aspect of the invention it is effected to a can grouper configured by an amine comprising: a main area for holding cans, at least two cuts for fixing cans located in the main area arranged opposite each other, a means of grip to lift the set given by the cans plus the sheet, where the sheet is of compact cardboard with fiber oriented in a preferred direction; Y, the gripping means is a handle disposed on one side of the sheet in such a way that each joint of the handle with the main area of the sheet is extended by an uninterrupted fixing band, verifying that: the fixing cuts of the cans are arranged on either side of the band; Y, the direction of the oriented fiber of the cardboard sheet is essentially coincident with the direction in which the web or bands are extended.
In the sheet the fixing bands can be at least two that give rise to two alignments of cans.
In a second aspect of the invention, the can grouper shows the cuts for fixing the mouthpieces of the can with a configuration such that they favor the curvature of the sheet around the can's hollow, at the moment of grip and transport, in such a way that the internal edges of fixation tend to approach pressing said embouchure.
In a third aspect of the invention, the grouper shows, between the cutting groups associated with one and another band, for the fixation of the mouths of the cans, one or more cuts that allow the separation of the internal sections of the sheet disposed therein. surroundings of said fixing cuts of the embouchure of the can.
Furthermore, the present invention, being made of cardboard, is better recycled than the products with the same purpose made of plastic.
Another advantage of the present invention, being a sheet that is held in the upper part of the cans, protects the upper surface of the cans, the area where it is drunk. This surface can also be used to place the advertising of the product.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The present specification is complemented with a set of plans, illustrative of the preferred and never limiting example of the invention.
Figure 1 shows an elevation view of the sheet of the invention.
Figure 2 shows an elevational view of the sheet of the invention with the grip on a side opposite the figure PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In an embodiment, the can grouper of the invention is formed from the sheet shown in figure 1.
This sheet is designed to group and transport six cans in two rows.
In the grouper of the invention the cans are inserted into the sheet at the top. The sheet presents separate cuts (1) semicircunferencia them in fronts for each can.
The gripping means is a handle (2) disposed on one side of the sheet in such a way that each connection of the handle with the main area of the sheet is extended by a band (3) not interrupted, in this case two bands (3). ).
The cans show in their upper part a zone of narrowing and finish superiorly in a returned ring. The narrowing zone is housed in the semicircunferential cuts (1), the upper circular area of the can is covered.
With the design of cuts is achieved the clamping of the cans by its upper edge, and protects the top of the can.
In order to favor the displacement of the bands (3) in contact with the semicir-cunferential cuts (1) on each of said semicircunferential cuts (1) and at one of its ends an oblique cut (4) has been made.
Between the semicircunferential cuts (1) associated to one and another band (3) for fixing the mouths of the cans, there are cuts (5) of separation that allow the separation of the internal sections (6) of the sheet arranged in the environment of said semicircunferential cuts (1) for fixing the embouchure of the can.
The separation cuts (5) are essentially longitudinal and of orientation coincident with the direction of the bands, being able to dispose at one or both ends of other transversal cuts (7).
When in this specification we speak of essentially longitudinal cuts, it is intended to cover variations of the method of constitution of the sheet that do not allow them to be perfectly longitudinal.
The essentiality of this invention does not alter variations in materials, shape, size and arrangement of the component elements, described in a non-limiting manner, this being sufficient to proceed to its reproduction by an expert.
