Abstract

Un aparato codifica una señal para proporcionar una señal codificada MPEG-2 que tiene datos de inicialización asociados, tales como cuadros-l, y transmite la señal, en donde la señal transmitida ocurre en ráfagas para transmitir la señal codificada MPEG-2, en donde cada ráfaga tiene una duración y ocurre en un ciclo de rebanada de tiempo, cada ciclo de rebanada de tiempo comprende por lo menos la duración de la ráfaga y un tiempo de apagado, y en donde el por lo menos un cuadro-l se transmite en una ráfaga y se repite en cada ráfaga siguiente hasta que se recibe un nuevo cuadro-l para su transmisión.
