Abstract
Un método para seleccionar un motor de perforación para girar una broca de perforación con relación a una sarta de perforación compuesta de entubado toma en cuenta por la elongación del entubado conforme la presión interna se incrementa. El incremento en la presión en la sarta de entubado incrementa el peso sobre la broca de perforación, la magnitud del cual puede calcularse con base en el tamaño y tipo de la sarta de entubado. La relación de par torsor de broca sobre el peso sobre la broca puede asumirse siendo un número constante con base en mediciones empíricas o un modelo teórico. El incremento en el peso sobre la broca de perforación puede expresarse en términos del par torsor de broca contra la presión de entibado, la cual es una pendiente lineal. Esta pendiente lineal puede compararse con el par torsor de entrega de los motores candidatos.
