Abstract
Se proporciona un termostato que puede reducir en forma confiable la operaci?n de un acondicionador de aire y otros sistemas para proporcionar ahorros en costos de energ?a al consumidor y una reducci?n de carga a un proveedor de servicio p?blico. El termostato incluye por lo menos un sensor configurado para comunicar informaci?n indicativa de la temperatura dentro del espacio y una memoria para almacenar por lo menos un valor de compensaci?n de temperatura asociada con una solicitud de operaci?n reducida de calefacci?n o de enfriamiento. El termostato adem?s cuenta con un controlador en comunicaci?n con al menos un sensor, el cual se configura para determinar peri?dicamente un valor de temperatura para el espacio y para controlar la calefacci?n o enfriamiento del espacio hasta que el valor de temperatura determinado haya alcanzado sustancialmente la temperatura de valor establecido. El valor de temperatura determinado peri?dicamente se basa en parte en la informaci?n recibida desde por lo menos un sensor, y puede incluir por lo menos un valor de compensaci?n de temperatura cuando haya recibido una solicitud de operaci?n reducida por parte del termostato.
