Abstract
Un sistema (10) de detección de falla y un método implementado por computadora para detectar una falla en un sistema (100) de señal en cabina, que incluye: una pluralidad de sensores (12) en comunicación eléctrica con un circuito (106) de despliegue de señal en cabina, cada uno asociado con uno respectivo de la pluralidad de circuitos (108) de lámpara y que se configuran para detectar o medir: la presencia o ausencia de voltaje, el nivel del voltaje, la caída de voltaje, la presencia o ausencia de corriente y/o el nivel de corriente. Una unidad (14) de monitoreo está en comunicación con la pluralidad de sensores (12) y genera datos (16) de circuito representativos de por lo menos una condición de por lo menos una porción del sistema (100) de señal en cabina. También se describe un método implementado por computadora para detectar un aspecto de señal en cabina del tren (T).
