Description

WHEELCHAIR WITH VIBRATORY SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE FREQUENCY OF MULTIPLE ANGULATIONS FOR BACKREST AND REST-LEGS DESCRIPTION OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention comprises a wheelchair which has multiple devices and adaptations that allow you to adjust to different sizes and postures in addition to having a vibratory system, which will be applicable for people with different capacities, older adults, people in rehabilitation and in any environment, such as home, clinics, "work places, etc.
BACKGROUND Conventional wheelchairs today present various limitations between they are the length of the height of the backrests since it is only manufactured with a fixed length Also the backs of these are rigid and prevent the user can adopt some other angle of inclination that he considers comfortable, most of the chairs are made of materials that transmit heat to the user (due to the material used in these); In addition, the location of the rims are always positioned in the conventional way, that is, the small rim in front and the large one in the back of the chair.
Currently wheelchairs do not have a vibration system which operates by mechanical impacts provides a body massage and at the same time reactivates blood circulation. So our innovation has among many advantages, a mechanical system that allows the recline of the backrest and the increase in the angulation of the legrest, where the push cranks are adjustable, also the location of the tires is different to the conventional and they are inverted to their position, in addition it has a vibratory system in the part of the legrest, backrest and seat, which can be adjustable. In addition to that is the backrest is padded and you can adjust the height of the backrest as well as that of the small rims.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES.
Figure 1 shows a right side view of the wheelchair in which the location of the tires (10 and 9) can be seen.
In this figure 2 a right side view of the chair is observed in which the rear part of a part of the mechanical system that allows reclining the chair in several angulations (3, 5, 6, 7 and 13) is observed.
Figure 3 shows a top side view showing the positions that can be taken by the cranks (14 and 23) of the wheelchair.
In this figure 4 there is a lateral top view showing the inclination of the backrest of the wheelchair at its maximum angle, as well as the increase in the elevation of the legrest (20), you can also see the way in which the backrest elements (18 and 19) are found when the distance between them increases (28).
Figure 5 shows a side view where the mechanical system used in the wheelchair is presented which allows the reclining of the backrest and elevation of the legrest since it is attached to the backrest and the legrest.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The device, object of the present invention is an improved wheelchair which comprises a rectangular seat (25) with chamfered corners, which has vibrators these are distributed in some parts of the wheelchair such as backrest, seat and leg-rest, so that the user does not get bedsores since the vibration gives a massage in the cells of the skin which contributes to the reactivation of the blood so that he can remain for long periods of time sitting in his wheelchair . It is also upholstered by a fabric with a fresh texture that is easy to clean, which provides greater freshness. Another novel feature of the present invention is that on the sides of the backrest (18 and 19) there are two tubes (29 and 30) on each side of this, which are assembled one inside the other and by means of pins can be adjusted in such a way that they are firm which allows to adjust the backrest to different heights (18 and 19), depending on the anthropometric dimensions of the user when the elements of the backrest (18 and 19) the space that is left between them is separated by a cloth that slides avoiding a cueco on the backrest (18 and 19). The chair comprises a backrest composed of two elements (18 and 19) which is formed by two parts joined by a tubular arrangement as mentioned above is composed of two tubes (29 and 30) of different diameters on each side, which allows it to be adjustable (28), which allows a vertical movement of one with respect to the other. This backrest (18 and 19), to achieve greater comfort is covered in fabric with a fresh texture and easy to clean. The chair, object of this invention, can be converted into a bed and can be moved in any direction, that is, it can be used as a wheelchair and tilt its backrest (18 and 19) backwards to become a bed without the danger of the person falling from it. To tilt the backrest (18 and 19) it is necessary to apply a backward force on the mechanical drives (6) of the gears (7) that are located on the sides of the wheelchair, which causes the safety to be deactivated causing the static force becomes dynamic as a result of the impulse that the user performs with a minimum reliable acceleration that allows the elements of the mechanical system to be propelled with each other, allowing the angulation of the legrest to increase; at the moment when the mechanical drives (6) and the backward exertion of the backrest elements (18 and 19) are no longer applied without reaching their maximum horizontal angulation, they are again in a static state where the gear locks are activated mechanically; or alternatively, an impulse can be applied to the back of the backrest while continuing to exert backward force on the mechanical drives (6) until reaching the maximum inclination of the backrest (18 and 19), at that moment the wheelchair becomes in bed and at the moment when force is stopped in the mechanical drives (6) of the gears, the safety locks are activated and the backrest (18 and 19) is firm.
Also the backrest (18 and 19) as mentioned as other elements has a set of vibrators integrated which are powered by a rechargeable battery that is charged by means of a current of 110 volts (each vibrator has a power of 0.05 watts with a constant consumption of 3 volts), the control (12) is connected to an electronic circuit (21); for when the user wants a massage on his back or some other specific part of the body, press a button of the control (12) that allows activating the mechanical impulses in a set of vibrators located in some segmented area according to the need of the user of the chair.
The control (12) consists of three buttons which are to activate the vibrators placed on the backrest, seat and legrest respectively, in addition to the control (12) there is a potentiometer which controls the frequency of the vibration, this it is manipulated by moving a lever in the form of a straight line located in the control (12) to increase or decrease the mechanical impulses.
The chair comprises a legrest (20) which, like the backrest (18 and 19), has different positions which allow the user to keep his feet in different heights, the legrest can rest horizontally (20). ) for when the user wishes to lie down (the inclination of the legrest (20) depends on the angle of inclination of the backrest elements (18 and 19)) by means of the mechanical system allows the inclination of the backrest elements (18 and 19) the leg rest (20) is more elevated). It should be noted that the legrest (20) also has the vibration system which can be activated regardless of the cancellation of the legrest (20).
The chair also has push cranks (14 and 23) which are assembled or attached to the backrest in its upper element (19), the cranks (14 and 23) can be relocated because they are assembled inside the tube backrest cranks (14 and 23) have a pin each which is inserted into one of the holes of the backrest tube, since the backrest tube has two holes located in such a way that the cranks (14 and 23) ) can be rotated and assembled in the traditional position (14) and in the new one proposed in this invention which positions it perpendicular to the person (23).
The chair has rims that are strategically located with the purpose that the chair has greater mobility, compared to conventional designs has been reversed the placement of the tires, in this invention the large wheels (9) are in the front of the chair while the small (10) are on the back the small tires (10) the height of these tires can be adjusted to several levels (4). The position of the rims allows the chair to support the weight of the person when it makes use of it in the form of a bed without the risk of falling, since with this arrangement the center of gravity of the wheelchair is changed . In addition, the location of the tires (9 and 10) makes it easier to perform propulsion and turning movements.
Figure 1 shows the pad (1) adjustable to the head capable of being moved towards the front or rear of the backrest element (18) (in the figure the pad appears in the front). The height adjuster (2) of the backrest elements (18 and 19) that allows to increase or decrease its manipulated length by means of small pins. As well as the lever pressure adjuster (8) fixer to give stability to the backrest elements (18 and 19). The large wheel (9) positioned opposite is appreciated, while the small wheel (10) positioned behind. There are also the push crank pins (16), which allow it to be placed in two positions. You can see the upper element of the backrest (18) completely cushioned with vibrators and covered in cloth of fresh texture easy to clean and finally the lower element of the backrest (19) completely cushioned with, vibrators and covered in fabric of fresh texture easy to clean .
In Figure 2 is the reclining adjuster of the backrest (3) which allows to obtain various angulations, said adjuster is integrated into the mechanical system. As well as the height adjuster for the small wheels (4). The tube that joins the legrest with the backrest reclining adjuster (5), which is part of the mechanical system. The mechanical gear drive (6), which is attached to the gear (7). It has bilateral lever brakes (1 1) positioned on the sides of the wheelchair. The support that provides stability to the backrest and strength to recline the seat (13) is also observed, this belongs to the mechanical system.
While in Figure 3 are found as in the previous figure the bilateral brakes (11) positioned on the sides of the wheelchair. The first position of the push handle (14) is also appreciated. The leg-rest (20) completely cushioned with vibrators and covered in fabric of fresh texture easy to clean. The second position of the push handle (23) is presented. Rest-arms (24) which is removable. As well as the rectangular Seat (25).
In Figure 4 is the height adjuster (2) of the lower backrest element (19) that allows to increase or decrease its manipulated length by means of small pins. As well as the Control (12) of the system of vibrators and regulation of its frequency. The upper element of the backrest (18) completely cushioned with vibrators and covered with fabric of fresh texture easy to clean. The bottom element of the backrest (1) completely cushioned with vibrators and covered with fabric of fresh texture easy to clean. The leg rest (20) is also fully cushioned with vibrators and covered with a fresh texture fabric that is easy to clean. There is also the electronic circuit (21) that allows the vibration and potentiometer system to work, in addition to transforming the direct power to continuous to feed the rechargeable battery. As well as the rechargeable battery (22) which feeds the vibrator system. The folding backrest support (28). Also shown is the upper backrest element tube (29) which is inserted into the lower backrest element tube (30) because the diameter of the upper backrest tube is smaller than that of the upper backrest element tube (30).
While figure 5 shows the reclining adjuster (3) of the backrest elements (18 and 19) which allows obtaining various angulations, said adjuster is integrated into the mechanical system. The T.ubo (5) that joins the legrest (20) with the reclining adjuster of the backrest elements (18 and 19), which is part of the mechanical system, as well as the mechanical gear drive (6) and to Engrane (7). In addition the support that provides stability (13) to the elements of the backrest (18 and 19) and strength to recline the seat is presented, this belongs to the mechanical system. You can see the rotating action tubular supports (15). As well as the leg rest drive (17), which is part of the mechanical system. The Element (26) that joins the reclining adjuster of the elements of the backrest (18 and 19) is also observed, which allows obtaining various angulations, said adjuster is integrated to the mechanical system (3) with the support that provides stability to the backrest and force to recline the seat, this belongs to the mechanical system (13), and finally is the legrest drive (27).
