Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a sistemas y métodos para controlar poblaciones de artrópodos. Los sistemas incluyen un sustrato polimérico, un semioquímico que es reactivo en un artrópodo de etapa adulta, y un insecticida que es tóxico a un artrópodo en etapa inmadura. El semioquímico puede ser una feromona sexual que interrumpe el comportamiento de apareamiento del artrópodo en etapa adulta.
