Abstract

Se describe un catalizador para la polimerización en fase heterogénea de olefinas y dienos conjugados, el catalizador comprende un pre-catalizador que consiste de una mezcla de compuestos de hidruro-alumohidruros de metalocenos: (CpRx)Ty(CpR'z)MHAIH4 (I) [(CpRx)Ty(CpR'z)MHAIH4]2 (II) [(CpRx)Ty(CpR'z)MH]2AIH5 (III) donde M es un metal de transición del grupo IV en su estado de oxidación +4; Cp es un anillo ciclopentadienilo no sustituido o sustituido con R o R'; ó un anillo ciclopentadienilo, donde dos sustituyentes vecinales están unidos formando ciclos para formar ligantes ciclopentadienilos policíclicos saturados o insaturados; R o R' son sustituyentes en los anillos ciclopentadienilos, y son iguales o diferentes; "x" y "z" son enteros de 0 a 5; T es un grupo puenteado covalente, cíclico o acíclico lineal o ramificado que une los anillos (Cp); e, "y" es 0 ó 1; el pre-catalizador se encuentra soportado en una sílica modificada y es activado mediante un co-catalizador. Se describe el método de obtención del catalizador y su uso en reacciones de polimerización.
