Abstract
La presente invención concierne un reactor isotérmico (1) que comprende un recipiente de presión (2) cerrado en los extremos opuestos mediante fondos (3, 4) respectivos, una zona de reacción (9) en dicho recipiente de presión (2) en la cual está posicionado al menos un canasto catalítico (10), y al menos una unidad de intercambio de calor (13) embutida en dicho al menos un canasto catalítico (10), cada unidad de intercambio de calor (13) comprendiendo una pluralidad de intercambiadores de calor (14), cada uno teniendo una cámara interna destinada a ser cruzada por un fluido operativo de intercambio de calor, el reactor siendo caracterizado en que comprende medios (17, 18) para tomar muestras de fluido operativo de intercambio de calor de grupos (16) de intercambiadores pre-establecidos en cada unidad de intercambio de calor (13), para determinar así la posible existencia de intercambiadores (14) dañados en dichos grupos (16) de intercambiadores mediante análisis de muestras respectivas de fluido operativo de intercambio de calor. La invención también concierne un método para detectar la existencia de intercambiadores de calor dañados en un reactor isotérmico del tipo antes mencionado.
