Abstract
An Exhaust Temperature Reduction Device for Aftertreatment Device is provided useful for lowering the temperature of exhaust gasses exiting the tailpipe of a vehicle having an aftertreatment device. The Exhaust Temperature Reduction Device for Aftertreatment Device may be manufactured from a single piece of formed sheet metal, two pieces of formed sheet metal that have been joined, or a net formed process such as investment cast stainless steel. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.
