Abstract

This invention relates to the transport industry, principally vehicles that are driven by hybrid power systems, hence a system is provided to connect a preferably electric motor and a preferably internal-combustion motor in one of said systems to make the vehicle work. This objective is achieved by providing an epicyclic gear train that connects the two motors, and that in turn enables the system to operate in different modes, such as torque combiner, electric generator system, motor generator, regenerative brake and variable speed drive.
