Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a prevencion de fraude y autentificacion de un dispositivo para un usuario. El metodo para autentificar un dispositivo personal (210) de acuerdo con la invencion comprende una secuencia de establecimiento (305-310), donde por lo menos un primer formato de salida preferido se selecciona por el usuario, y una secuencia de verificacion de configuracion de dispositivo (315-355) . En la secuencia de verificacion de configuracion de dispositivo, se calcula una comprobacion y se convierte en un formato de salida de facil uso basado en el formato de salida preferido seleccionado por el usuario. Ademas, la comprobacion puede calcularse basandose en el material para claves variables y que se puede elegir por el usuario. El dispositivo personal (210), despues de ser autentificado de acuerdo con lo anterior, puede utilizarse para autentificar un segundo dispositivo (215).
