Abstract

The invention refers to a nutritional composition that comprises from about 40% to about 50% of soy extract, no more than 20% of sesame extract, from about to 30% to about 40% of rice extract and maximum 2% of prickly pear extract, it may optionally comprise a protein source, a carbohydrate source, a fat source, flavouring agents, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements and further conventional additives. The extract form of each of the ingredients is performed so that the nutritional content thereof is easily incorporated and absorbed by the organism. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a partial or total diet to people suffering from overweight and obesity, also being useful for reducing total cholesterol levels, cholesterol-LDL, triglycerides and blood glucose. The invention may be used both in people suffering from overweight and obesity and in people having raised levels of total cholesterol, cholesterol-LDL, triglycerides and glucose.
