Abstract

Described is a simultaneous center- and rim-fire system, which consists in a novel form of percussion, a simultaneous center- and rim-fire percussion including a monolithic cylinder coupled or integrated thereto. The monolithic cylinder forms a false wall which replaces an anvil in a shell, training blank or primed case, (Floating anvil) or (False anvil), allowing a rim-fire primed case to be fired by a simultaneous center- and-rim fire percussion and a center-fire training blank to be fired by a simultaneous center- and rim-fire percussion. The invention includes nine different monolithic cylinders having the same purpose: forming a false wall (a floating anvil or a false anvil), as well as a simultaneous center- and rim-fire system having six different manners of primed case with a monolithic cylinder coupled thereto.
