Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la fabricación directa de ortofosfatos a partir de fosfatos de calcio impuros, el cual comprende los siguientes pasos: añadir a un material de roca fosfórica la cantidad necesaria de ácido sulfúrico o ácido fosfórico para transformar la roca fosfórica en fosfato monocálcico; someter el material a reposo para inducir la insolubilización de la mayoría de las impurezas presentes; extraer el fosfato monocálcico con un líquido que lo disuelva; y hacer reaccionar el fosfato monocálcico con un sulfato seleccionado para obtener el fosfato correspondiente y sulfato de calcio.
