Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras a amplificador para líneas de telecomunicación de fibra óptica de transmisión de señal las cuales pueden interponerse entre una parte de la fibra óptica de la línea y una segunda parte de la fibra óptica de la línea comprende una fuente de radiación de bombeo óptica, un acoplador dicroico adaptado para conectarse a dicha prinera parte de fibra óptica de la línea y conectado a la fuente de radiación de bombeo óptica y un tramo de fibra óptica de alma activa monomodal a ambas la radiación de señal óptica y a la radiación de bombeo óptica, teniendo un extremo conectado al acoplador dicroico y el otro extremo susceptible de ser conectado a dicha segunda parte de fibra óptica de la línea, dicho amplificador estando caracterizado porque el acoplador dicroico es del tipo compuesto de dos tramos de fibra óptica de alma no activa colocados en una relación del lado al lado sobre una parte de su longitud en donde estos están acoplados ópticamente uno a otro por fusión de los revestimientos respectivos y están asentados substancialmente en común de las almas respectivas mediante el estiramiento de los tramos mismos, ambos tramos de fibra óptica forman el acoplador dicroico y son de modo único ambos para la radiación de señal óptica y para la radiación óptica de bombeo
