Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a artículo para emplearse en el empalme y terminación de cables de energía eléctrica, caracterizado porque comprende un miembro tubular elastomérico soportado en un estado estirado, en un núcleo en espiral, de una pieza, fácilmente separable, comprendiendo dicho miembro tubular de aproximadamente 2.5 a aproximadamente 25 por ciento en volumen de negro de carbón, de aproximadamente 0.8 a aproximadamente 3.0 por ciento en volumen de partículas conductoras en forma de laminillas, hasta aproximadamente 8.0 por ciento en volumen de llenadores inorgánicos de capacidad inductiva específica elevada, hasta aproximadamente 12.0 por ciento en volumen de llenadores dieléctricos inorgánicos en forma de laminillas, comprendiendo el resto de dicho miembro un elastómero formulado, seleccionado del grupo que consiste de EPDM y EPM.
