Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para controlar la cantidad de luz emitida por lámparas fluorescentews en una ubicación prescrita de conformidad con la curva seleccionada de una familia de curvas predeterminadas, cada una de dichas curvas tiene una porción con una pendiente pronunciada unida a una porción con una pendiente más moderada que dicha pendiente pronunciada, dicho método incluye detectar la cantidad de iluminación obtenida en la ubicación prescrita por la luz natural y por dichas lámparas fluorescentes, seleccionar una de dicha familia de curvas, dichas lámparas fluorescentes están controladas para emitir una cantidad grande de luz de conformidad con la pendiente pronunciada de dicha curva seleccionada cuando la cantidad de iluminación detectada es de un nivel bajo y están controladas para emitir una cantidad inferior de luz que dicha cantidad mayor de conformidad con dicha porción más moderada de dicha curva cuando la cantidad de iluminación detectada es de un nivel superior a dicho nivel bajo.
